Finance

Budget Committee

The Budget Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial health of the Payette School District. Charged with reviewing the district’s budget and financial reports, the committee ensures that fiscal decisions are transparent and well-informed. In addition to analyzing financial data, the committee actively identifies grant opportunities and provides supplemental information and support for potential levies. Their efforts help secure necessary funding while ensuring financial stability across the district.

The committee includes the District Financial Director, Business Manager, Bookkeeper, and Superintendent, who meet monthly to evaluate financial strategies and generate recommendations for the Superintendent’s consideration during the Budget Development Process.

Curriculum

Student Achievement & Curriculum Committee

The Student Achievement & Curriculum Committee is committed to ensuring that all students have access to the support and resources necessary to thrive academically. By focusing on the development of essential knowledge and skills, the committee helps students progress in their educational journeys. This team collaborates with the Superintendent to provide input on the Continuous Improvement Plan and guide the integration of new curriculum adoptions within the district. Using student assessment data, the committee tailors recommendations that promote academic success and innovation in the classroom.

The committee includes the Special Programs & Curriculum Director, Special Services Director, school administrators, and the Superintendent. They meet monthly to review student performance, discuss curriculum needs, and recommend strategies to enhance student achievement.

Safety

Emergency Operations Committee

The Emergency Operations Committee is dedicated to ensuring the safety and preparedness of the Payette School District. Tasked with developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the district’s Emergency Operations Plan, this committee ensures that all staff, students, families, and the broader community are well-informed about their roles before, during, and after any potential incident. Through proactive planning and education, the committee strengthens the district’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies, safeguarding our school environments.

This committee is comprised of key district leaders, including administrators, School Resource Officers, the District Safety Manager, the Director of Transportation and Grounds, and the Superintendent. These members meet regularly to assess and update protocols, ensuring that all safety measures align with best practices and evolving needs.

PR & Communications

Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations Committee is essential to maintaining open and effective communication between the Payette School District, parents, the community, and the media. In addition to guiding district messaging, the committee plays a key role in shaping and promoting the district’s brand, ensuring that each school’s identity aligns with the district’s overarching vision. By contributing to the Communications Strategic Plan, they foster a sense of unity and pride throughout the district, strengthening relationships and community trust.

This committee includes Public Relations representatives from each school, the district Webmaster, the PR & Communications Director, and the Superintendent. Meeting monthly, the team collaborates on strategies to enhance the district’s public image, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and outreach efforts.
